Chart notes
FORTYSHADESOFTIGER vied with HATAGASAL for the early lead while two-wide, then dropped back slightly to stalk R BARRACUA, took the lead from that one entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. CAUSE FOR DIVORCE saved ground while being allowed to settle, slipped through during the drive and finished strrongly. DRIVE TRAIN settled in the back of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and rallied late. HOT GOBLIN raced in the middle of the field, came six-wide into the stretch and showed some late interest. R BARRACUDA prompted the early pace while three-wide, opened a clear lead nearing the five-eighths pole then set the pace to the stretch and weakened slightly. HATAGASAL vied for the early lead racing along the inside, came three-wide into the stretch then drifted out during the drive and tired. CHANCES TAKEN saved ground while being unhurried and was not a factor.
