Chart notes
MONGOLIAN APPLE accelerated to the early lead, controlled the pace along the inner rail, was under urging in the drive and dug in tenaciously. HANKSDIVININGROD , outrun to the far turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and rallied late outside horses. HUNTER JOE chased outside the winner and lacked the needed late effort. LOVE ME NOT , three wide both turns, failed to rally in an even effort. WON AN AWARD hugged the inner rail, gave way and was transported off the track on the equine amblulance. NATE THE GREAT , inside horses down the backstretch, raced in the two path far turn and weakened. JACK'S LEGEND took bad steps approaching the first turn, bore out, pulled up and was transported off the track on the equine ambulance. There was a stewards' inquiry but no action was taken.
