Chart notes
SECRET VINTAGE moved up to prompt the winner in the run up the backstretch in the two path while heading up the second group, continued to put pressure on the pacesetter through the turn, began a slow gain on that one past the furlong marker and was up in the last stride to prove best. MOTHER OF PEARL broke outward but very alertly to show the way early, continued to set a somewhat pressured pace through the turn, put to pressure into the lane, continued hold the advantage past the furlong marker that it was slowly dwindling, nailed in the final stride. GRAND CIRCLE forwardly placed early in the second flight while between foes and outside the winner, fell back a bit in early in the turn, came in the two path for the drive, steered out for room past the furlong marker and was closing the gap on the the pair late. EASY KISS lacked early foot, asked along late in the turn, followed GRAND CHOICE into the stretch, also angled out with a furlong run and finished up willingly as well while widest at the wire. K K'S FIRST DANCE last away, continued to lack speed, failed to menace. I WAS AN OUT forwardly placed early outside, four wide into the turn, three wide exiting, was tiring when bothered a furlong out, continued to weaken.
