Chart notes
INWOOD DRIVE bothered at the break to be well back early, continued void of speed into the turn, moved a bit closer through the bend, cut the corner into the lane, reached the leader with less than a furlong remaining and wore that rival down under steady handling. MYSTIC MATE with the pace out of the chute outside, continued to vie while four wide into and through the early part of the turn, put a head in front late in the bend, was clear when straightened for home, responded when the winner came up the inside to challenge inside the furlong grounds, gave ground grudgingly to that rival. FLAT OUT BLESSED settled behind the busy first flight up the backstretch, moved outside, came five wide for the drive, staged a mild rally to finish up best of the rest. CURLIN'S UNION devoid of any early speed, swung out when beginning a modest advance late in the turn, improved position down the middle of the strip while not a serious threat. RECKLESS LOVE broke with the leaders, set or forced the pace for over a half closest to the inside, began to weaken turning for home. MR FAHRENHEIT in tight and shuffled back to be last away, remained well back, picked off a couple of tiring rivals while not making an impact. METRIC MAN contested the pace in the two path and between horses, faltered late in the turn, continued to back up stretch. WISE DECISION broke out, quickly straightened to also be with the lead pack while three wide and between horses, gave way late in the bend as well, trailed home.
