Chart notes
SOPHIE'S HEART broke well to vie for the lead from three wide while matching strides outside of LAYNEESDOVECANDY to midway through the turn and took command near the quarter pole while drawing off. EASY HONOR was hard to load then was erratic early and shifted out to race wide and was in contention near the quarter pole and proved second best. KIDINTHECANDYSTORE vied for the lead from between horses to the half mile marker then fell back slightly on the turn but stayed on to hold the show. SPORTATORIUM raced near the back while saving ground before tipping out to three wide into the stretch and made a late stretch run to finish strong. JACKSON'S SPEAKER tracked the leaders before moving up to be in contention near the quarter pole and was outfinished late. MAESTRO ITALIANO stalked the pace from the inside to the top of the stretch but lacked the late response needed. LAYNEESDOVECANDY was unsettled in the gate then went to a pressured lead while matching strides inside SOPHIE'S HEART to midway through the turn, he kept on to the top of the stretch before giving way. DESERT MOON had an awkward start and trailed throughout.
