Chart notes
DEEP FLAME prompted the leader from the three path, forged an advantage as an outer BRANT issued a challenge yet kicked away in upper stretch and drew off. AMERICAN MAN stalked along the inside, chased in the two path around the turn, shifted out to the six path in upper stretch then ran on to gain place in the final sixteenth. IGNITER lagged behind along the inside, rallied in the three path to split foes in the final sixteenth and gained show late. BRANT tracked from the three to four path into the turn, ranged up quickly to offer a bid outside of the new leader at the five sixteenths pole, but got repelled while proving no match for that one in upper stretch then yielded between horses late. PRIZE PICK led early on as the eventual winner applied outer pressure, got headed by that one and a wider challenger at the five sixteenths pole then faded. OSCAR'S HOPE raced off of the pace in the four path, floated six to seven wide in upper stretch and tired.
