Chart notes
CAVIAR COWBOY was forwardly placed racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch to join the lead and prevailed narrowly in a stiff sdrive. SHINY ORB saved ground while being reserved off the pace, slipped through entering the stretch, took a slight lead nearing the eighth pole, dueled from that point drifting out slightly nearing the wire and just missed in a game try. DRAW NIGH saved ground setting the pace, drifted out leaving the quarter pole, responded when challenged disputing the issue from between horses to deep stretch, steadied briefly in tight nearing the wire when SHINY ORB came out and finished well when clear. GOT YOUR SIX prompted DRAW NIGH while racing two-wide to the stretch and weakened. PRIME NUMBER raced in the back of the field and was not a factor. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT NEARING THE WIRE BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH..
