Chart notes
PUDGE BOY PALACE , sent along the inner rail down the backstretch, made the lead approaching the turn, took pressure around the turn, went clear in upper stretch and dug in tenaciously to prevail. PIT STOP MAN chased early, circled the turn three wide and rallied outside the winner. SEVEN'S ELEVEN , taken to the inner rail near the three eighths pole, advanced along the rail to reach a striking position in mid stretch, raced on his left lead and flattened out. NORFIE trailed early, moved out on the turn, was fanned to seven path in upper stretch and passed tired horses. ECUMENICAL dueled outside the winner to the stretch then weakened. SPOTTED BULL lacked speed, entered the turn along the inner rail, eased out then swung to the six path in upper stretch and failed to rally. HELDISH , no factor, circled the turn four wide then was floated to eight path in upper stretch.
