Chart notes
DOCTOR DAVIS showed the way and was unchallenged through the first circuit, drew out on the third turn and was well handled while jumping well and drew off on the far turn and dominated foes while being ridden out and geared down late, sharp. ROUNDTOP chased the pace and saved ground on the far turn but proved to be no match for the winner while clearly second best. COACHES MEETING was reserved early and made steady advance on the second circuit but proved to be no match for the top two wide besting the rest. RUN FORREST RUN was off slowly and void of speed, then passed the tiring rivals on the second circuit. MORTAL SIN was slow to begin and far back early, made some advance entering the second circuit but could not sustain that advance and lacked a rally. T REX was settled early and then tired on the far turn and was eased in the lane, walked off. STROKE OF LUCK stalked the winner for the first circuit, then was tired after a mile and a quarter and left the course after the seventh jump, walked off.
