STARSHIP DISCOVERY tracked the leaders from a clear pocket to the far turn in mi-pack, rallied nearing the quarter pole saving ground along the inside, quickly took command in mid-stretch and pulled away convincingly. HARDLY READY stalked the leader to midway on the final turn, rallied to the lead turning for home whil drifting out, was no match for the winner and ran-on as second best. FLORENTINE LADY ste the pace on a clear lead to the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch run. STARLIT SKY dueled on the inside through the first turn for the lead, settled off the pacemaker down the backstretch and kept-on evenly lacking a closing bid. GEVALIA failed to menace. CAPARBIA was not a threat. MAMBO TAXI dropped out down the backside, was not persevered with, was eased to the wire and walked off.
