Chart notes
NEOKING took command strides away from the gate, set the pace on a well rated, well measured lead, responded when called upon in upper stretch to repel the runner-up and remained clear to the wire in a well handled ride. VAN pressed the pace from three wide to midway on the turn, was put to a drive nearing the quarter pole, was unable to seriously challenge the winner and finished willingly as second best. RAMESSES unhurried to be the trailer for the first half mile, rallied to steadily close the gap through the final bend and flattened out in the lane unable to sustain the bid. GOOSE HUNTER failed to menace going evenly. WICKED FINN tracked the leaders for a half mile and steadily faded from contention.
