Chart notes
AUNT DEE settled off the contested pace and off the inside, came under a ride three wide approaching the stretch, switched over to her left lead advancing past the sixteenth pole, wrested command from CELEE'S LEGACY in deep stretch and was edging away at the wire. CELEE'S LEGACY broke a bit slow, quickly recovered and sped up along the inside to take command near the five eighths, handled outer pressure into and around the turn, shook clear under urging into the stretch, remained clear past the furlong grounds, kept on gamely but just failed to contain the winner's run. TAPIT CARA , a bit reluctant to load, showed in front and led for nearly a furlong, stayed on to press the inner leader, failed to keep pace into the stretch then faded under some hand encouragement.
