QUEEN OF SPIRITS was hustled for pace and raced in range three wide early, engaged outside of ANNALINE in earnest past the half mile mark, led two wide around the turn, was driven from a narrow lead into upper stretch, took command for good approaching the furlong mark and drew away. ANNALINE set the pace between horses early, was headed by QUEEN OF SPIRITS to her outside past the half mile mark, saved ground around the far turn while attending just off the new leader, was driven while looming inside into upper stretch, could not match QUEEN OF SPIRITS approaching the furlong mark but proved best of the rest. KAIA'S CHOICE hopped at the start, briefly settled at the rear but keen to engage approaching the half mile mark and advanced to engage the leaders, stalked three wide on the turn, was driven in upper stretch while still in range, but had no answer for QUEEN OF SPIRITS and was outfinished by ANNALINE for the place. LUCKY NEA was sent for early speed and attended the pace inside of ANNALINE early, was outpaced into the turn, weakened in the five path around the bend and was eased in the lane.
