Chart notes
ZELOS pressed the pace while racing between horses early, took the lead between horses near the three eighths, kicked away for good near the three sixteenths and increased his advantage under a mild drive. AUDUBON ROAD attended the pace three wide down the backstretch and around the turn, was driven in upper stretch but could not go with ZELOS into the lane, chased on and wore down TAP THE KID for place. TAP THE KID broke sharply, set the pace while harangued by ZELOS to his outside, was headed by that foe near the three eighths while saving ground on the turn, continued in range inside ZELOS to the three sixteenths, was no match from there, and lost the place inside of AUDUBON ROAD late. BUY ME ANOTHER hopped at the start and was slowly away, was pushed along in the two to three path on the far turn while well behind the leading trio, went to a drive in upper stretch, and offered no rally. JET SET REBEL settled well off the pace, raced in the four to five path on the turn, was asked near the quarter pole, and offered no response.
