Chart notes
MARCUS GIFT chased the demanding early pace while four wide, advanced on the turn, took over approaching the eighth pole and held sway thereafter under steady pressure. BALSA had a shoe repaired in the paddock, settled well while four wide, lodged a bid on the turn, was swung five wide into the stretch and finished well. BAD BEAT BRIAN saved ground, was angled off the rail into the stretch and managed a mild rally. CARIBBEAN DREAM raced forwardly along the inside, stalked the pace in the two path on the turn and came up empty in the stretch. SPEIGHTSVILLE had a shoe repaired in the paddock and never menaced. PALI KITTEN broke sharply, sped clear early but faded when headed before going a quarter mile. ALL THAT GLORY gained the lead up the back stretch run, was hooked on the turn and gave way. LISTENTOTHEMUSIC was always outrun. INNOVA bore out sharply entering the turn, was pulled up and departed in an equine ambulance.
