Chart notes
CAMPFIRE CREED stalked the early pace, settled well on the turn and finished strongly while three wide in the stretch under a stiff drive. WORTH LOOKING outpaced while four wide, moved five wide into the stretch and rallied. CITY OF CLOUDS outrun while three wide, moved out five wide into the stretch and stayed on well to garner the show spot. THIRD STREET worked his way to the front, went clear into the stretch and gave way in the last sixteenth. CAWKAB never menaced. BROCK ON BY led early, was brushed aside into the turn and weakened. VIETNAM VICTORY was always outrun. BLING MOUNTAIN saved ground, lodged a brief bid on the turn and came up empty in the stretch.
