Chart notes
ALLONS Y sprinted to the front, crossed over to the inside, remained clear into the final furlong under hand urging and flagging from the crop and was in hand nearing the wire. ELEGANT MUNNI stalked outside a rival then moved inside, chased after the leader from rail to the stretch, finished willingly but had to settle for second best. PLEASE BEHAVE chased three wide around the turn, drifted inward in the lane and gained third. CAP 'N GOWN was closest in pursuit outside rivals then moved into the two path leaving the backstretch, took aim three wide turning for home and weakened in the final furlong. ESTRELLA ESMERAL trailed off the inside up the backstretch, rounded the bend three then two wide, tipped out into the lane and failed to menace. RACER'S EDGE chased from inside, dropped back on the turn and lost the crop at the five-sixteenths pole, then tired in the stretch run.
