Chart notes
GARNET JUBILEE asked a bit just after the start to make the advantage, rated in the run into the turn when clear, maintained a daylight advantage into the lane, opened up a bit nearing midstretch and was not serious threatened to the wire under steady handling. CASTLE GAP in a bit tight at the break, raced in the second flight up the backstretch, just off the inside, idled in some traffic far turn, chased the winner into the stretch when clear and finished willingly to be closing the gap on that rival late, clearly second best. AWESOME NAME broke a step slow, raced back, also encountered some traffic early in the turn, two path into the lane when improving position, no match for the top two late, saved the show. CLASSIC ALPHIE in the second flight while between horses, came four wide for the drive, went evenly to the wire while gaining a bit for the show late. BOTTLE IT in the second group three wide and between horses, chased the winner midway on the turn then gave way in the drive. HERE COMES TRUMP four wide when with the main body through the turn, stopped through the stretch to finish well back.
