Chart notes
RINGING FIRE chased from inside, moved outside the leading pair passing the five-sixteenths coming to the quarter pole four wide, struck the lead in mid-stretch, edged clear then held. WALKERS BEACH steadied slightly in the early going racing inside and dropping back toward the rear, was off the rail on the turn, came into upper stretch five to six wide, gained late but was not enough. PAINTMYMASTERPEACE chased from outside, was strongly hand-ridden passing the seven-sixteenths, advanced to the lead past the five-sixteenths, lacked the needed late kick while saving show honors. KING OF SALSA lacked early speed racing outside at the rear, continued to trail just off the fence through the turn, kept on in the stretch three to four wide to narrowly miss third. CHILLING ZENSATION was urged to the lead from the start, set the pace from off the rail, asked when challenged at the five-sixteenths, weakened in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
