Chart notes
LILLESAND unhurried to be well off the pace near the rear of the field for the first half mile, commenced a steady advance into the far turn, closed the gap to upper stretch and went by the tiring pacesetter to draw away down the lane in hand late. HOPE RISING sped to the lead into the first turn on a clear lead, widened the advantage down the backstretch, maintained the margin to the quarter pole and tired turning for home having no answer for the winner. ENGLISH INDY stalked the pace from afar down the backstretch and went evenly lacking a closing bid while keeping on to just hold the show. LUCKY AND PRETTY was one-paced failing to menace. THY NAME IS WOMAN trailed to the far turn, battled at the rear of the pack for a placing and flattened out to be no factor.
