Chart notes
ONTHEWAYJIMMY was urged forward from the start, engaged the leader dueling inside that one, came out off the fence turning for home, continued to fight on through the stretch and surged late to just prevail. FIVEO'CLOCKCHARLIE broke out a bit but on top, set the early pace from off the inside then dueled outside a runner, fought on continuing the battle through the stretch, was outfinished but just saved place. COOLTHING chased the dueling leaders from off the inside in the three path, swung seven wide into upper stretch, was gaining late but missed. WAYLLEN RICHARD was in tight at the start, moved up outside foes up the backstretch racing very wide five deep into the turn, floated nine wide into upper stretch, kept on well and was gaining late but not enough. STANCE settled off the pace, saved ground inside, came out in mid-stretch, kept on between foes nearing the wire but needed more. SPAN was urged from the start, chased in the three to four path into the turn, asked for more at the quarter pole, came into upper stretch eight wide, failed to menace. DIAMND CON SUERTE lacked early speed racing between foes into the turn, dropped back a bit and shifted in later on that bend, was never near enough to threaten.
