Chart notes
RIP CORD went up to press the pace from the inside, dueled to upper stretch, drifted out while battling into the final sixteenth and dug in late to prevail. LUNA LATTE sent to take the early lead, set a contested pace into the turn, dueled outside of RIP CORD to upper stretch, was crowded a bit while battling that foe to the final sixteenth, gamely fought to deep stretch but was denied for the win and was a clear second. PRACTICAL PURPLE settled off of the early pace then saved ground into the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch then angled out for the drive, could not impact the top pair in the late stages but was a clear third. CUTTING CLASS was prominent away from the gate then took back, tracked the pace three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit while widest to upper stretch and did not offer a late rally. VERRAZANO'S GOLD settled off of the early pace then took a ground saving trip into the turn, shifted out to upper stretch and failed to threaten. BRADESTER'S TIME crowded at the start and was last away from the gate, rushed up and chased the early leading pair while three wide, lost ground along the turn, had little left at the top of the stretch and was eased in the lane.
