Chart notes
NAVAL HARBOR dueled between rivals to the quarter pole, responded two wide to the stretch then dug in gamely to prevail. TAVERNELLE was fanned five deep into the backstretch, chased the leaders, bid three wide to the stretch and closed willingly in the final sixteenth. DRAW THE FOUL was a pace factor outside of three others, bid three wide on the second turn, loomed boldly into the stretch then got outkicked and lost second late. BUZZED BY A TIGER trailed for three furlongs, closed the gap then swung out four wide and made a stout run to the wire. BIG BOWIE had no speed and saved ground to no avail. WESTERN SIERRA had good speed, was on the pace for a half mile then tired. SMOKENSILVER was also a pace factor between but tired after a half mile.
