Chart notes
BEAUTY BOLT reserved in the early going, advanced on the turn, entered the stretch four wide, rallied strongly under steady pressure and went clear in the last sixteenth. NOAHS PRIDE forced the pace, gained the lead leaving the turn, was no match but kept on to secure the place spot. CANDY ROAD outrun early, lodged a bid on the turn, lacked room turning for home, was checked at the three-sixteenths marker as a result and closed ground willingly thereafter. SOFOCLES reserved just off the inside fence, went three wide into the stretch and stayed on. LEO'S ROCKET was off slowly and never involved. TEDDY BEAR was outpaced along the inside rail and did not factor. IRON THE MONEY gained the early lead, was hooked on the turn and faded in the stretch. PLAYFUL PAL had a wide trip and never menaced. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF CANDY ROAD CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF BEAUTY BOLT ALLEGING INTERFERNCE AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH. AFTER REVIEWING VIDEOTAPED REPLAYS, THE STEWARDS DISMISSED THE OBJECTION.
