Chart notes
RYAN'S GIRL took a bump at the start, chased from off the pace, went four wide into the turn, steered to the three path, rallied inside the leaders, put a head in front at the eighth pole, cleared shortly after, came under fire from POCKET VENUS late and was able to hold. POCKET VENUS settled off the pace, steered to the inside, moved into the two path on the turn, angled out past the five-sixteenths pole, finished well through the lane, dug in late to draw alongside RYAN'S GIRL but ran out of ground. LADY GREGORY tracked out of range off the rail, swung out leaving the turn and took aim seven wide turning for home but flattened out in the furlong grounds. DEEP BLUE stumbled and had her path taken in the beginning, trailed well off the rail to the turn, came six wide into the stretch and passed tired rivals. BLESSED ANGEL broke in and bumped, followed closely outside the pacesetter, drew alongside that rival at the five-sixteenths pole, got carried wide shortly after, took control in upper stretch, lost command at the eighth pole and weakened in the deep stretch. LITTLE TINKER ELLE showed good early foot from inside and set the tone early, challenged by BLESSED ANGEL at the five-sixteenths pole, came out to force BLESSED ANGEL wide late on the bend, relinquished the lead in upper stretch and folded.
