Chart notes
SEE THROUGH IT stalked the top pair up the backstretch, ridden along on the turn, angled out at the five-sixteenths pole, moved out in upper stretch, bid past the eighth pole, dug in late and edged BOB'S BLUE MOON for the victory. BOB'S BLUE MOON dueled from outside, seized control on the turn, put inner rival away at the top of the stretch, challenged by SEE THROUGH IT past the eighth pole and yielded grudgingly. FUMANO'S MAGIC got crowded at the start, settled off the pace, lacked room between rivals and took up on the turn, got enough room to split those rivals, angled to the inside, rallied up the fence, drew alongside the top pair late but ran out of time. SHADY TIGER chased from off the pace, went four to five wide on the turn and showed late run to round out the superfecta. ALPINE THUNDER traveled in mid-pack, raced four deep then angled to the three path entering the turn, came five wide into the stretch, tipped out and produced a mild rally. SMOKEM EZ bumped with inner rival in the beginning, chased outside a rival, angled four to five wide turning for home and finished evenly through the lane. MIO BAMBINO trailed early, angled to the inside for the turn, angled out and came five wide into the drive and kept trying to the wire. DEVIL BE ME dueled from inside, lost command on the turn, yielded at the top of the stretch and weakened in the drive. SHORTMAN lacked early speed, raced two wide leaving the backstretch, moved out and entered the lane six wide and was never a factor. UNPRETENTIOUS took a bump early, traveled three deep off the pace into the turn, moved to the four path around the bend, angled out into the stretch and failed to menace. PRANCEALOT KELLY raced in mid-pack off the rail, took the turn two to three wide and came up empty. STRAIGHT BUZZIN saved ground from off the pace and tired.
