Chart notes
ROCKNSOCKCONECTION was put on the lead, raced in the three to four path down the backstretch, continued on the lead in the three path on the turn, opened up briefly in upper stretch when driven, and held on to the wire. IT'S MILES chased inside early, advanced to join inside the tracking flight near the half-mile pole, saved ground around the turn, angled outside of ROCKNSOCKCONECTION into the lane, drifted out late, nonetheless gained but ran out of time to catch the leader. T C GOLD broke outward, tracked the pace inside of PERFECT GAMBLE early while still positioned outside ROCKNSOCKCONECTION, tracked between horses in the four path on the turn, was hard urged between horses near the five sixteenths, floated out into upper stretch racing outside of IT'S MILES, was carried out by that foe but still found a late rally, but could not catch IT'S MILES for place. WAY UP NORTH settled inside PAW ALLEN, raced in the two to three path on the turn, was driven in the lane but chased on only evenly, and shifted inward late. PAW ALLEN broke with the field but soon settled back to the rear, was driven in the three to four path on the turn, shifted inward into upper stretch, chased under a drive, shifted out late and chased on evenly. PERFECT GAMBLE tracked outside of T C GOLD early, continued in range in the five path on the turn, floated into the lane in the eight path while under urging, and flattened out.
