Chart notes
BREAK OF DAWN chased inside horses on the turn, advanced along the inner rail turning for home, gained a short lead in upper stretch and prevailed in an extended drive. CRAZY MILES bore out leaving the starting gate, circled the turn four to five wide, challenged for the lead outside the winner in upper stretch and hung. UNCLE ZEB , steadied in traffic about a sixteenth of a mile after the start, stayed along the inner rail around the turn and rallied. MISTER CHILL lacked speed, raced wide around the turn, stayed outside horses and passed tired ones. OVER IMAGINATION chased the pace, steadied between horses mid way on the turn and checked on the heels of HUGS FOR ARIES inside the three sixteenths pole. LAUGHATYOURENEMIES , fractious in the starting gate, chased the early pace between horses, raced wide on the turn and drifted out entering the stretch. HUGS FOR ARIES , sent to the early lead, stayed slightly off the inner rail, drifted out leaving the turn, drifted out in upper stretch and faltered.
