Chart notes
BERNIN TUNE was forwardly-placed two wide heading into the first turn, stalked the loose leader up the backstretch, kept on near the inside in the stretch to edge past late. JACK SPRAT was urged from the start and moved clear to set the pace from off the inside, widened up the backstretch, drifted six wide into upper stretch, came back in, was outfinished. WICKED GUS was forced four to five wide in the early going, stalked well back of the leader shifting in past the half, saved ground on the far turn, kept on and held show honors. WESLAN broke a step slowly, trailed early, was forced outside foes on the far turn moving four then six wide, gained late but missed third. STROPE settled off the pace inside saving ground, moved out early on the second turn racing about three to four deep, improved position in the stretch. LEMON DROP SHOT was outside a foe in the two to four path early, continued three to four deep through the far turn, failed to menace. FIRE BRYAN was forced four wide into the first turn, took back when in a bit tight at the seven-eighths moving in a bit, moved back out and forward up the backstretch chasing three to four deep into the far turn, dropped back and faded. DINNER AT CRUMPIES was caught six wide into the first turn, eased back off rivals and moved in four wide later on that bend then came in a bit further up the backstretch, chased about mid-pack, dropped back two to three deep on the far turn and faded.
