GENERAL SHIPMAN moved clear out from the rail in the first turn, shook off challenges in late backstretch to draw clear nearing the lane and drew off under mild urging. SHIPS LOG moved three and four wide to challenge outside the winner going to the far turn, could not go with that one but held position in the lane. FIRESPITTEN KITTEN made a mild four wide in late backstretch but weakened in the far turn while holding position late. HURRY UP N WAIT lacked a rally saving ground.
