COLONEL YORKE well back off the pace, crept closer late backstretch toward the inside, continued to pick his way through some traffic second turn, inside bid, led, proved no match late. MOR VICTORY prompted the pace off the inside, challenged and dueled into the far turn, narrowly held the advantage into the lane, gave ground grudgingly to the top two until late. TURN NORTH off a step slow with the winner, raced well back, raced behind that same rival late in the final turn, tapped on the brakes and steadied when lacking room, recovered and staged a late run when clear. SILVER ASSASSIN behind the first flight toward the inside, tipped out to be four wide turning for home, lodged a brief bid outside MOR VICTORY in upper straight, gained a brief and narrow advantage past the furlong marker and faltered for forfeit several positions late. CANYON STREAK settled off the pace outside, within striking distance second turn in the four path, set down for the drive, lacked the necessary closing response. SUPERSECRETWEAPON lacked speed toward the inside, continued back second turn, improved a bit in the drive without posing a serious threat. SPECIAL MEMORY broke on top, showed the way toward but not on the rail first turn, continued to set the pace then dueled into the far turn, gave way when headed. REGAL TERKA in mid pack early off rail, came five wide out of the final turn, had nothing for the stretch run.
