PEARCY ROAD raced off the early pace, saved ground around the turn, advanced gamely along the rail, dug in under firm handling and got up on the wire. DRESS GOOD ranged up into contention late on the turn, got bumped by HIS WAY at the lane, ran on gamely, led late and got caught in final stride. HIS WAY raced off the pace, gained along the inside then angled out leaving the turn, bumped with DRESS GOOD, ran on, vied for the late lead then yielded in final stages.
