Chart notes
SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN went to the front, was well rated while inside to the two path, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop outside the furlong marker and held under strong urging. INTELLECT (FR) saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was asked in the two path on the far turn, moved to the three path late on that bend, swung out to the six path into the stretch, rallied outside into the final furlong and finished fast but was too late while up for the place. LIFE AND TIMES was hustled from the gate, raced in the three path on the first turn, settled outside but with cover, made a bid near the three-eighths pole, vied in the three path on the far turn, was roused into the stretch, pursued the winner in the drive, drifted out under a left-handed crop and swapped back to his inside lead late and willingly earned the show. SHERLOCK'S JEWEL went around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, raced in the three path while roused on the far turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. EJTIMAA angled in at the rear of the field, saved ground while unhurried at the back, was roused on the final turn and passed some foes but failed to threaten. ALAN TURING was rated on the inside, came under urging on the far turn, turned into the stretch under the crop and lacked the needed kick. CIAO CHUCK went around the first turn in the four path, was reserved on the outside but with cover, came under urging with three furlongs to run, chased in the three path on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. FINAL VERDICT established a forward position early, raced in the four then three path on the first turn, stalked outside without cover, was asked in the two path on the far turn, dropped back under a drive in upper stretch and came up empty. BURHAN (GB) moved out under restraint early, tossed his head in the five path on the first turn, settled outside without cover, went around the far turn in the four path, turned into the stretch in the seven path and failed to respond.
