SKAAL was unhurried on the fence at the rear down the backside, lagged well behind taking the shortest way around the bend, swung out widest gathering speed in the ten path turning for home and absolutely flew home in the final furlong picking off horses one by one and got to the leader in plenty off time with seventy yards from home going away smartly at the finish line for the stretch running win. HOWSITGOINOWEN was hustled in the beginning part of the early scramble for the lead between runners, shook clear by the half, opened up setting a brisk pace around the turn, had a commanding lead on the fence looking powerful at the furlong pole but could not find more late, was unable to withstand the winners flurry of a finish in the final few strides and was caught in deep stretch taking the place share instead at the wire. ATERYA stalked close to the back ahead of only a couple of runners, made little gain on the turn having the fence, angled to the six path between horses in the stretch drive and had good late energy finishing smartly to be a clear third in the end. ANDTHEOSCARGOESTO was situated three deep outside of two others tracking the pacesetter down the backstretch, travelled three wide on the turn being hard ridden chasing the frontrunner in vain around the turn, drifted in on the wrong lead moving into second in upper stretch, did not switch leads shortening stride in the stretch drive and faded in the final furlong holding for a minor placing in the end. MASTER STEAL had an outside stalking role ahead of only the eventual winner in the early stages, made no improvement going three wide still outside horses around the oval, angled out between foes in the eight path in upper stretch and finished up mildly passing inside runners in the drive but could not get into contention in the late going. STORMY CLOUD settled on the outside of rivals in mid-pack down the back straight, kept pace under a hustling ride throughout the turn, shifted to the five path starting to make a run in upper stretch, rider lost his crop coming up to the furlong pole when brushed by the inside foe and could not continue the momentum afterwards stalling going back to the incorrect lead in the final furlong. CHASING MEMORIES tracked the frontrunner while outside at the half mile marker, settled between foes in the second flight watching the loose leader on the bend, could not keep up with the winner getting away at the quarter pole and wilted in the three path by the furlong marker. TEAM ALMASTY had the rail sitting in midfield down the backside, ran evenly keeping pace making little movement on the turn, shifted to the four path in the stretch run looking for a seam but showed little in the drive down the lane to the wire. MANCHESTER ICE had the lead on the rail in the beginning, relinquished the front end inside rivals by the half, chased the winner saving all the ground on the bend, skimmed the fence dueling for the place share in upper stretch, could not sustain the rally and folded in the final furlong.
