Chart notes
IOWA CLUB set the early pace, took on the challenge from RATLEFF at the quarter pole, dueled inside into the stretch, dug in gamely, shook free leaving the furlong marker and finished going away. RATLEFF raced four wide into the first turn then quickly advanced to sit off the leader, stalked rival up the backstretch, moved up to challenge IOWA CUB at the quarter pole, vied outside into the stretch, could not match strides past the furlong marker but ran on and finished clearly second best. CONTACT TRACING raced off the pace, swung three wide into the lane and cleared show. BOCA GUY tracked the early pace, saved ground around the far turn and had no late response. BY DECREED raced in range between foes near the half, hustled along two wide into upper stretch then gave way. CUPID'S THUNDER raced off the pace, came under a ride entering the turn and had no response. FORCED RANKING raced in the back throughout.
