OUT OF THE FOG broke near the rear of the field, was urged along towards the back, went around the turn in the three then four path, swung into the stretch in the seven path, rallied outside into the final furlong and closed strongly to get up late. EYE ON THE BALL tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid in the three to four path on the turn, shook clear into the final furlong, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while able to get the place. MYKONOS settled off the pace, steadied inside the half-mile pole then dropped back, saved ground for most of the turn, shifted to the two then three path late on that bend, swung out to the six path into the stretch then quickly moved further out and finished with good energy to garner the show. CHARLIE MY BOY was bumped in the hindquarters at the start, chased the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the two then three path, was driven into the stretch in the five path, jostled with TWENTY ONE RED outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick then missed the show. TWENTY ONE RED was urged along on the outside, traveled around the turn in the three then four path, spun into the stretch in the six path, jostled with CHARLIE MY BOY outside the furlong marker then paused while crowded and also lacked the needed kick. PILOT KNOB steadied off heels early, settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole and lacked the needed response. GOLDEN JOKER moved in while towards the front, chased inside to the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and lacked the needed kick. BOOM SHOCKA BOOM showed speed then contested the pace on the outside of a rival, lugged out from the two path to the three path early on the turn, was guided around that bend under heavy left-rein pressure, dropped back under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. UNTIL LAST CALL showed speed then disputed the pace on the inside of a foe, vied along the rail on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and tired. TALWYN bumped the hindquarters of a foe and was last to commence, dropped well behind the rest of the field, rounded the turn in the two path and trailed.
