Chart notes
BACKROADSBILLY was quick to take the lead, set the pace from off the rail, faced increased pressure after the opening furlong, shook free kicking clear leaving the turn and into upper stretch, came out a path at that juncture, held a rival under steady urging. DARK SCREEN tracked inside the second flight in behind the eventual winner, came out three wide turning for home then tipped out a further path with aim on the leader just in front, gained steadily and slowly but was not enough while clearly second best. FOXTROTANNA hit the gate at the start, moved up mid-division outside a foe in the second flight, fanned six wide leaving the turn, kept on to secure show honors while no late threat to the top pair. BREEZERO settled off the pace inside, saved ground, swung out seven wide for the drive, kicked on mildly. EXTRAORDINARY ONE (GB) was outsprinted early racing at the back off the inside, came into upper stretch four deep, failed to menace. MAGIC POWER stalked then prompted the eventual winner after the opening furlong, lost ground on that one three then five wide on the turn, faded thereafter.
