Chart notes
MOONLIT COURAGE contested the early pace outside of KIKIS GOLDEN TOUCH, took over command leaving the backstretch, drew away into the stretch then drifted out to the middle of the track and held safely. DESTIN TO BE GREAT trailed the field early, then moved up quickly along the rail, and closed gradually in the drive. CARAVALLA fractious at the gate, was in close quarters leaving the first turn, settled in range while three to four wide, went in pursuit of the leader, and went evenly through the stretch. MISS LARUE rated well off the pace, chased wide in the final turn, and weakened. EVERYTHING TO GAIN offered a late, mild bid. FOX CREEK NINE reluctant to load, flashed some early speed and tired. KIKIS GOLDEN TOUCH contended the early pace, was overtaken and faded.
