Chart notes
BARBERRY BANDIT vied for the early lead between foes, dropped back leaving the backstretch, then was roused along the rail at the quarter pole, gained the lead and was ridden out. PONDEROSA settled inside early, swung wide in the final turn, and was along in time for place. G T RAY SIR was wide in the last turn and closed late. NOW AND ZEN reluctant to load, broke last, rallied inside and was bested late. HANDSOME HENRY was four wide leaving the backstretch, rallied under encouragement, and missed. ALBERTA BERBON stalked six wide, and offered a late mild bid. MAX BOOSTER contested the pace while five wide, and was roused to no avail. TABULA ROSSO pressed the early pace while three wide, lugged out leaving the backstretch, held a short advantage in the far turn, drifted out at the head of the lane and stopped.
