Chart notes
DON'T TELL KELLY reserved off the pace well in hand to the far turn, rallied steadily circling four wide to wear down the pacesetter inside the eighth pole and pull clear to the wire. TOOTALOO KANGAROO was well rated opening a clear lead down the backside, responded willingly when called upon turning for home to maintain the advantage in mid-stretch and was outfinished late having to settle for second best. LA GIRVINA stalked the pace from the fence to the far turn, rallied to threaten midway on the bend and leveled off finishing evenly unable to sustain the rally. TINTA ROJA prompted the early pace and faded on the far turn lacking a response. ITS SATISFACTUAL hopped a bit at the start to be the trailer and was never a factor.
