Chart notes
JUSTIFIABLE STEEL was well rated on a clear lead through the first turn, widened the advantage down the backside, edged further away on the final turn and came home handily as much the best. XMAS IN CAIRO stalked the pacesetting winner throughout, failed to gain on that one and was unthreatened for the place. OMIKAMI tracked the top pair the entire way while in the clear and kept-on to hold the show as best of the others. OCTET slow early to be the trailer and passed weaker coming home without impact. INANNA'S QUEST was one-paced never posing a threat. HIGHLAND HOLIDAY raced in mid-pack of the strung out field for the first half mile, faded to the rear and was outrun.
