Chart notes
DR. ZARNETT had speed from the start while racing five wide down the backstretch, began to close ground three wide through the turn, drew on even terms for the lead before the furlong marker, battled to the wire and got up by the narrowest of margins under left handed urging. HIDDEN ACCESS pressed the pace two wide past the quarter pole, gained a narrow lead at the top of the stretch, dug in gamely when joined by the winner and just missed hanging on. MAMAS HOME COOKING bumped at the start and finished with good courage four wide. ROLL ON BIG O broke outward causing a chain reaction of bumping to his outside, sped to the lead along the inside, set a pressured pace past the quarter pole and weakened late. COLONEL COOPER settled six wide and had no rally. MERGER bumped at the start, vied for lead the lead three wide and was through after a half. VENTURE ON bumped at the start and was outrun. LAST MINUTE MIKEY stalked the pace four wide into the stretch then gave way.
