Chart notes
UNIWINNER , under urging soon after the break, stayed three wide on the turn, opened up turning for home and was kept to his business in the stretch. SASSY LAD , steadied in close quarters between horses leaving the far turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and rallied outside rivals. SPEEDY ALEX lacked speed, saved ground on the turn, remained inside horses in the stretch and passed tired ones. BRODERICK chased the pace between horses, stayed on his left lead in the stretch and weakeend. THE WOLFMAN showed speed along the inner rail and gave way on the turn. ROLLY , rank leaving the starting gate, circled the turn four deep and gave way.
