Chart notes
INDY ONE was coaxed quickly to the lead, set a pressured pace inside dueling on the turn, put away the sparring partner but found a new challenger to the outside, was headed past the furlong marker, fought back to regain command nearing the wire. INDIAN PEAK was lightly bumped at the start, tracked inside the second flight, moved out three then four wide past the quarter pole under urging, struck a narrow lead past the eighth pole while coming in a bit, was outfinished. POSEIDON STEEL lacked early speed racing last but one and outside, moved nearer the fence early on the turn saving some ground, came out a bit in the stretch and rallied between foes near the sixteenth pole to get up for show honors. PINE KNOLL chased from outside going three to four wide on the turn, was one-paced and failed to rally. ARABIAN PRINCE pressed the eventual winner, moved closer to duel on the turn drawing nearly even at the five-sixteenths and encouraged soon after, faltered and weakened in the stretch. MOON LANDING bumped a rival lightly at the start, was devoid of early speed trailing inside, moved out on the turn, made no impact.
