Chart notes
TISUM settled early, advanced along the rail, split rivals at the top of the stretch and dug in gamely inside BIG CURL to prevail by a narrow margin. BIG CURL stalked the pace while four wide, lacked running room in traffic leaving the backstretch, swung out four wide, rallied determinedly into the stretch, dueled outside of TISUM and was narrowly outfinished. NEED THE PURSE prompted the pace from the rail, gained a short advantage at the head of the lane, and yielded at mid-stretch. JAVIER dueled between rivals early, traveled under a snug hold down the backstretch, surrendered the lead but stayed on three wide before fading. HELIOO was four wide into the opening turn, swung wide in the far turn, then drifted in and tired. SONOFAGHOST broke inward, pressed the pace while three wide, and lacked a closing response. DEBRUSK lugged out in the backstretch, and was outrun. KAMAL offered little.
