Chart notes
DIOCLES stalked the early pace while three wide, prompted action into the final turn, rallied three wide, then drifted in midstretch and prevailed under a long drive. DANCING PORKY saved ground while setting the pace, took pressure in the far turn, inside of BOBBY DAZZLER, was set down engaging in battle with BOBBY DAZZLER and DIOCLES, then gave way grudgingly deep stretch. BOBBY DAZZLER prompted the pace while three wide, dueled outside DANCING PORKY, rallied determinedly between foes into the stretch, took out at the sixteenth pole and missed. FLASHFORDANI saved ground and lacked a bid. LUCKY FORCE failed to threaten. JOCKEY OBJECTION- An objection was lodged by the rider of BOBBY DAZZLER against the rider of DIOCLES alleging interference in the stretch run. After review by the Board of Stewards, the objection was disallowed, and no change was made to the order of finish.
