Chart notes
GALILEO STREET was well back, closed the gap on the far turn and from the seven path at the top of the stretch proved best. PELEE ISLAND stalked the early leaders from the inside, had a good position on the far turn and from the four path at the top of the stretch held place. ROSE FOR CARRICK was in mid pack early and had the lead on the far turn but from the five path at the top of the stretch gave way. ALZADO set the pace but was in tight on the far turn and needed more through the stretch. WOODGLEN COURT tracked the early leader from the outside and dueled on the far turn but from the three path at the top of the stretch leveled off. MULMUR was unhurried early and roused on the far turn but from the three path at the top of the stretch had no response. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER ON ALZADO AGAINST ROSE FOR CARRICK FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE ON THE FAR TURN WAS NOT ALLOWED.
