Chart notes
DEFERENCE tracked the leaders from the fence saving ground, rallied along the rail turning for home, tipped out around the pacesetter in upper stretch and wore that one down in a determined drive in a well handled ride. TRAIL OF ROSES set a well rated, well measured pace on a clear lead to the head of the stretch, responded to the challenge of the winner but was outfinished in the final sixteenth having to settle for second best. CALL ME BABE was unhurried early to be at the rear down the backside and rallied steadily with a belated bid to be best of the rest. COWGIRL JIG was slow into stride to be the early trailer, picked up ground down the backside and finished with interest down the lane. NAVAL SECRETS prompted the pace to be in striking distance at the quarter pole and weakened down the stretch failing to mount a late kick. ANGELS ENVY stalked the pace from four wide through the turn, was fanned six wide turning for home and failed to respond in the lane fading from contention. MOONPIE DELIGHT raced wide the entire way dropping out on the turn and was outrun.
