Chart notes
SPIRITED SOL stalked the pace from the inside to midway on the turn, angled four wide to challenge for the lead in upper stretch and pulled clear late mounting the best rally in the lane. SOUPER FORCES reserved off the pace for the run down the backside, made a steady rally on the turn circling six wide turning for home to loom in mid-stretch and finished well through the lane while being outkicked by the winner. JOHN DUTTON hustled up the inside to take the lead shortly from the gate, set a pressured pace to the quarter pole, responded in a four-way charge for the lead turning for home and ran-on through the lane tiring in the final sixteenth. GOING UP pressed the pace into the turn, rallied to threaten turning for home from between rivals, was repelled by the pacesetter and weakened in the final furlong. CIRCLE P trailed throughout having no impact.
