Chart notes
NOBLE STAR unhurried in the early going to race at the rear of the field, rallied on the far circling foue wide in the compact field to take command nearing the eighth pole and drew off in the final furlong. MAKOA rated early to be off the pace, closed the gap gaining position down the backstretch to be prominent turning for home, rallied to threaten midway down the lane and was outkicked by the winner. TRAVELLER tracked the leaders from the inside saving ground and put in a mild bid down the lane to be along for the show. LANGSTAFF ROAD pressed the pace the entire trip, rallied to take a short lead in upper stretch and was outfinished when he flattened out late in the drive. THIRTEEN G'S stalked the leaders from four wide to be well placed in striking distance midway on the final bend and lacked a closing kick. SPEIGHT THE SNOW set the pace under constant pressure to the quarter pole and weakened coming home. RACHMAN was not a factor. KAMAINA CRUISER rated off the pace in contention racing five wide and faded to the rear when he failed to respond on the turn.
